Page 1 of American Werewolf in London cut?

I bought the new R2 dvd last week and got the feeling that some of the shots of Jenny Agutter had been cut from the film compared to a VHS version I saw some years ago. On another forum

someone else is thinking the same. Can anyone confirm?

Dunno about that but there is a very clunky cut in it that could be the layer change (it`s around the right time) is this the same with yours or is it a fault?

I`ve got the VHS version and the DVD didn`t seem cut when I watched it, but to be honest I wasn`t watching it that closely. I`ll have to dig out my VHS copy and compare.
