IN MADNESS YOU DWELL
RE: Ghostbusters - Reboot - all women!
It's about ghostbusting, but I'll wager there will be several references to finding boyfriends/husbands, bodily functions and emasculating patriarchal figureheads
Remember how sexist the original Ghostbusters was?
Gimmick. Not needed.

The entire venture is ill-conceived. It was a product of its time, the writers, actors and director. Even their own sequel was meh - they should just let it lie.

Heathen!!!!!!!!!!!
Whilst G2 lacks originality, it's easily as funny as the original. So many great lines, I still don't understand why some fans of G1 look down on it. :/

Whilst the original wasn't sexist, Sigourney's character has about two funny lines in each film, the rest of the time she's there to be rescued or feed Bill Murray. But yes, that's because its of its time.
I don't think his tweet even says they'll all be women, just that there would be funny women in it. I think Sigourney can be funny, but Dana was quite serious.
It would only be a gimmick if it's not funny and the joke is they are all female. Maybe I'm just hoping for a good film in the spirit of one Ramis and Akroyd would write.
Still, in the meantime...

"Bobby Brown"
But he's too hot to handle, too cold to hold. :( And even if you dislike him intently, surely "Let's see what happens when we take away the puppy?" easily cancels his 1 minute of screen-time out?

I dunno what it is about GBII. I just never got into it. It's okay, as in not a bad film, but it's not a patch on the first one.

They ought to leave the franchise alone, now, but G2 is not that bad; I watched it the other week and enjoyed it.

It's irrational, I know, but can't stand him and the fact he did the "theme" tune makes it worse...

I didn't think Ghostbusters 2 was that great either, but I love the first one.

Ghostbusters theme song to be reissued as marshmallow smelling vinyl record

To commemorate the film’s 30th anniversary, Ray Parker, Jr.’s classic Ghostbusters theme was reissued for April’s Record Store Day on glow-in-the-dark vinyl. On October 21st, Parker’s single will once again be re-released, this time on 12-inch white vinyl featuring a very special gatefold: Inspired by the film’s much-beloved villain, the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, the whole thing smells of sweet, sweet marshmallows. Good luck eating though, amirite?!
