Its in the hands of Disney. One way or another Star Wars will hit and miss every trick in the book. Monkeys/typewriters/Shlucaspeare

Have agree with enemyonpc that these new Star Wars films so far have not been interesting enough, and for me not to buy on DVD to see again, and that tells me they were not good enough.

My thoughts on the whole saga.....
SW 4, 5, and 6 the main characters were great and they all gelled as a group, it was Cinematic history in the making.

SW 1, 2, 3, just a money spinner. Could not give a monkey's who lived and died, and unfortunately Jar Jar Binks survived

To me the exact same is happening with the new ones, who are the characters? who cares? Memorable....errm.... no!

Just a new hope that Solo is better. (did you get the pun, eh eh)

To be honest, I have a an order of preference when it comes to the Star Wars films. but that's all it is, an order of preference. I own all of them on BD and can take any of them at anytime. The original point (I think) being that if Disney if are going to churn out new Star Wars films, every year until colliding neutron stars stop making gold, then there's bound to be some dubious ones.

Never mind Disney milking it, what about George Lucas, with all the different versions, the extended version, the directors cut version, and not forgetting the skinny edition version.

Yes the skinny edition, see this short video with George Lucas and Vertical Video Syndrome

He doesn't look or sound much like Solo at all.

The plot look super-generic too.

I have a bad feeling about this.
