Having read all about linux on the Xbox and its ability to play divx etc..i think i want this more than the gamecube.

Is it worth buying simply for its modability?

Despite Microsoft`s lawyers getting heavy with every website printing info on porting stuff to the xbox without paying MS a license fee, I think it will see a constantly expanding set of free addons, much like the dreamcast has.

They do a chip which enables it to practically work like a home PC, my mate has one, and they are an absolute snip at around £199.

couldnt work out what it is exactly benji is it still in the xbox case?

or have they moved the components to a pc case.

As far as I know its still the standard XBox. For what they`re charging it can only be a mod-chip. E-mail them and find out - they`re very helpful.

What a Bargain! Especially being able to backup original games to the hard-drive. I`ve seen pictures and heard of people modding their Xbox with a CD-writer, how cool is that?
