Page 1 of Can an X-box stand upright like a PS2 ?

Simple enough question, but important as I`m pushed for space.
If the x-box must be laid flat then it`s bulk will probably mean I buy a PS2,which can be stood upright and hidden down the side of my AV stand.

Aye if you prop it up with a couple of bricks or something :) Naw but seriously it isn`t designed for that and even if it was stable the CD Tray doesn`t grip the discs in the same manner so they`d tend to slide right out.

So it`s going to have to be a PS2 then.

I`ve heard some pros and cons of consoles before...
Is the deciding fact, above all else (games, licenses, playability, connectivity, functionality, quality etc....) of deciding which machine to get, whether or not it can stand on it`s side?
