Page 1 of Problem with my chipped X Box (using EvoX)

Um my games or DVDs wont play! I boot up the X Box with a disc in, and it takes me straight to the Evo X menu, whilst DVDs give the same response. Any ideas?

You haven`t changed the XBox to NTSC rather than PAL have you? There`s usually some kind of region switcher I think - I remember the same kind of thing happened on my brothers Xbox. My advice would be though, to contact the person who fitted it.

Download the new X-Disc 092 installer, it`s great and will have your chipped Xbox up to date with everything.

Do you have autoload of games and dvd`s off? look in the settings on evox... is there a launch dvd option on the menu?

a number of things would cause it possibly...

dvdr u are using your xbox might not like, especially if its a Phillips drive...

autoload might have been switched off in the settings or in the ini file.

the video mode might be wrong, set it to use auto (or something like that use games default mode i think) in settings if you havent already...
