Cheap Gamecube Games?

GJD (Competent) posted this on Monday, 17th November 2003, 11:56

Amazon seem to be about the cheapest place online for Gamecube games at the moment (£29.99 a pop). Are any game shops / high street stores doing similar prices though.. or maybe a buy one get one half price offer? I would love to get Mario DD and FIFA 2004 (yes I already have Pro Evo 3 on the PS2!) but I don`t think I can face the grief from my Missus when £60 spent at Amazon appears on the credit card bill :)

If you go to your local GAME store they have second hand games for quite cheap(we`re talking under £15, in most cases £8-£10 for games like Wave Race, Fifa 2003, Pikmin and so on.

But I`ve just looked at amazon`s players choice range, and I think you would be better off getting a few of them rather than paying a fiver less for an old one.

They don`t seem to vary their prices at all for specific ranges(£17 players choice, £30 new) so it is worth having a look around to see if you can find one or two of them cheaper. My policy is wait until its on budget or second hand to buy it.
