Page 1 of Timesplitters 2 : Help on Story - Level Chicago

Picked this game up on the cheap a few months back and finally got round to playing it last week.
Anyhow ; I`m stuck at the very end of this level . After I killed the boss (Tony?) I cannot find the portal to level , but a constant stream of "blurry/shadowy" figures with purple heads keep coming out of there own portals ad infinitum. What am I doing wrong ?
