Page 1 of Another PSP downgrade thread.....

Hi

Im going to do the devhook thing, but im so busy at the moment, I havent really got the time to look into it properly. So......answer me these questions 3 (please!)

1) Im on 2.6. Do I have to downgrade to 1.5 before I run devhook?

2) Whats the USB version of devhook do?

3) If I do have to downgrade to 1.5 to sort out devhook, can anyone recommend a downgrader. And maybe brief instructions.

God im lazy. But you guys rule, so help a brother out ;)

Its actually almost insultingly easy. On a par with the dreamcast for being a long john silver....

Done mine recently , easy enough to do but ..... can`t seem to get all the games to run , tried many Dev hooks , settings and such but Tekken dark destruction just wont have it >:(

Only tried 3 so far, all have worked no probs (after I put them in the right folder)

Has anyone got any experience with the DAX ISO compressor? I compressed a few ISOs with the Dark_Alex compression util and tried to run the DAX gui that comes with it, but the PSP just locks.

Ive tried PE5 (naturally) and SSX on Tour, both were about 1.3 gig compressed down to about 800mb. I open the DAX GUI, select my UMD (the iso.dax file) and start, but then it just locks and needs the battery taken out.

Im running 1.5fw with 2. 71 devhook when I need it, if thats any help.

What clock speed are you running it at? If its 333 try changing to 222/111

I keep it at 222 because 333 seems to murder the battery life.
