Page 1 of PS3 God of War collection question

Hello folks
Saw this on amazon.com:

and was wondering if anyone knows if PS3 games fromthe US will work on a UK PS3?

There`s never been any region protection on PS3 games, so I`d be surprised if it didn`t work, but then these are PS2 conversions so you never know.

Actually, just read it and it says it`s been remastered in 720p so I`d be extremely surprised if it didn`t work on global PS3s.
They`re cracking games, looking forward to GoW 3!

Darn it! I tried ordering it from amazon.com but they wont deliver to my UK home address!!! are there any other reputable websites where I could get this from?
