Page 1 of Satellite Reign (the real Syndicate successor)

After EA`s abomination last year, I`m now doubly excited by the prospects of a new Syndicate game, even if they`re not allowed to use the name.

UFO: Enemy Unknown turned out really well when they remade that as a strategy game (and delayed the FPS in the process), so I have high hopes Syndicate can be done too.

Seems to have the right people!

EDIT: Done. May have to wait a while for completion, but it certainly looks like what I wanted a Syndicate sequel to look & play like.

Goal reached with four days left to go

I was starting to worry last week when it was only just over half way there, but as seems to be the case with a lot of kickstarters, there was a surge in the last few days.

Thankfully it looks like it`s a "go"!
I`m hoping that EA don`t swoop in and offer a ton of money to produce it and take away the `independence` of it, but I just can`t see £350k being enough to develop a brilliant title. I will happily be proved wrong. :D

I was going to buy it when it was on early access but it looked like a buggy mess back then. The performance seems to have improved a lot, but a lot of people are saying it's still not ideal. The general consensus of the game itself is that it's a very worthy successor to Syndicate.

Seems to have a lot of positive reviews on Steam and Metacritic? I still have way to much to play still though.
