...or even better, has anyone ever rented their house/children/dog etc to part of a film?
The church in the village next to us (Sacombe in Hertfordshire) was used in Enigma. And a mate of mine had an old car of his blown up in the cause of TV entertainment... I`m sure you can all beat that!

No, but The Who`s late bass player John Entwhistle was cremated at a cemetary about 100 yards away from where I`m sat now.

I was under the impression that John Entwhistle was to be cremated at Cheltenham Crematorium, if that is where `Lee Thews` is, then `The Whistle Blower` was set in Cheltenham, also I believe `IF...` with Malcolm McDowell was also filmed around Cheltenham, to name two.

my girlfriends next door neighbours house was used for a scene in coronation st where richard killed his ex-wife. also her street is often used for filming and sometimes street cars taxis can be spotted down there. oh and her parents best friend is christopher eccleston!

I live in Milton Keynes, and nearby Bletchley Park was in Enigma (one of my friends was an extra!) And also a scene in one of the Superman films was shot in the city centre, many years ago. Oh, and my girlfriend lives on the opposite side of the Thames to the Millenium Dome - where they shot the opening sequence to the last Bond film. There`s a shot where you can see a building site on the edge of the screen - that`s her block of flats going up! Do I win a prize?

Actually, I think (on reflection) this one`s been asked before, but not for a year or so, so I reckon I`m excused.
Just thought of another one. I used to live in Kings Lynn, where Revolution was filmed - a friend of mine was 3rd screeching woman hanging out of a window, or something.

I live in Bath where Inspector Morse has apparantly been filmed a few times (never seen the episode). Also Casualty has filmed where I live a few times (its filmed in Bristol, quite near to Bath).
