rce just refers to REGION CODING ENHANCEMENT, i think!

some companies have put this onto their disks to stop us importing as some players will not read them. my old tosh 100 wouldnt play region 1 spiderman, which was one of the reasons i changed it. not all studios do it, but any new player with recent firmware should be ok.

RCE unlike most people think stands for "Realy Crap Entertainment"

you wil find it attached to most Goerge(?) Cloony(?) films.

Do not buy if you want to be entertained.
