Where can i get cheap memory, cos on the internet i`m gona get charged minimum £5 for deliver. would PC word do it for bout £25 (don`t really want to go there cos their useless), Curry`s, etc. what other internet based companies are their that sell computer parts?
cheers
First Question, Where do you live ?
leicestershire. why?
If you had lived in central Scotland I would have referred you to my trade suppliers.
Sorry about that ;-(
Try typing " mail order pc memory uk" in your search engine Google came up with over 10 pages worth.
Hope this helps P.
The name escapes me now, but the people who took over when Tiny computers shops closed, are selling 128 memory for £20 in their shop in Ilford-it sounds pretty cheap to me. I paid more than double that last year when I bought 128 for my pc! PCWorld are certainly NOT the dog`s testicles for these things!
While they`re definitely not the cheapest, I would recommend Crucial - http://www.crucial.com/uk - the stuff they sell is very good quality, and if you use the memory selector they guarantee it`ll work on your motherboard. It`s potentially much less hassle than buying some questionable unbranded memory from an unknown vendor, since you`ve got some fallback if things go wrong.
I should also mention that postage is free, and you get 10% off if you order online.
