Does anyone know what type of file has a .gho extension...and if so, what application do I use to open it?

It`s a Ghost Disk image file.

it`s a default extension that the program norton ghost uses, so i`m guessing that you`d need this to enable it to work.
sounds like you`re trying to copy an OS disk to me :)
