Frailty! (Spoilers)

Just watched Frailty...can`t make my mind up about it. It didn`t jump out and grab me as I`d expected, but I think it`s one of those films that you have to watch a couple of times to fully appreciate it!

Anyone else seen it?

Great film. At first I wasn`t all that taken with the ending, but when you think about the film as a whole and what the ending means... its one great film.

What was your take on the ending and what actually happens? Different people appear to have different interpretations of the ending.

"Different people appear to have different interpretations of the ending"

To be honest, I can`t see how. Considering you have put the spoiler warning up, I will go ahead a tell you what I think.

***********SPOILERS**************

I think its a Sixth Sense ending, meaning that there really is not much discussion to be had with the ending, but plenty to discuss about the events in the film. Bill Paxton was NOT mental, and I don`t know about you but I NEVER once thought throughout the film that Bill Paxton was anything but INSANE. So the ending has a shock value.

I saw this at the EIFF, so I`m a little rusty as I saw about 20 films there. Its stuck in my mind though, which is always an indication of a good film.
