I dont mean to sound stupid but what is region 0 is it just cd rewriter disks?

This is equivalent to `no region code` and should play on any player regardless of the default region. commercially, it`s used for general release dvds (video utils, nature films etc).

Quite a lot of `naughty` dvds are R0 coded.......so I`m told!

Region 0 means a DVD will play on all DVD players although a region 0 NTSC DVD will play on all DVD players a region 0 PAL DVD might not play on NTSC DVD players
