but are you scared of death?? i`m not coz life is so f*ckin wonderfull
no matter what, it comes to us all but i think the fear/shadow of it makes life so much sweeter you do those things that give you that rush take pride in what you have done or are about to do use it to justify that purchase/excess or whatever "hey i might be dead tommorow" your collective thoughts please :-)

I`m not really scared of death for myself, but I suppose I am for the people I care about like my parents and my little sisters. I suppose I`m a little worried about dying without doing something in life i.e. having a wife, having kids, a decent career that I want to do and such. I keep saying theres plenty of time but time is going so incredibly fast at the moment. I`m 20 now, should really be sorting out a proper for myself or travelling or something rather than stagnating at my desk `working` for this poxy government.

i see what you are getting at mate but dont worry about "doing something in life" you are doing something now by being yourself as long as you feel fullfilled now, then a wife and kids and a your job are immaterial i have a wife 2 kids and a dead end job but life is great i am not rich but on a day like today when the sun shines i think that it is all worth while "the means justify the end"

Ignore those barstewards that say `Don`t worry, you`ve got plenty of time` or `Don`t worry, it`ll happen in time`

This is all a load of Horlicks.

You`ve got very little time as it goes by so quickly. So get out there and make it happen right bleedin` NOW! Don`t wait for things to happen, or for other people to take the lead in stuff - DO IT AND DO IT RIGHT NOW!

or you`ll miss out.

Believe me I know, big time.....

I am, in all seriousness, s*** scared of death. The utter enormity and inevitability of it.

Unfortunately, I am a pessimist - a glass half empty type of person. It`s part of my personality and I can`t help it. I envy many of my friends who never give it a second thought and who always have a positive spin on every situation. If I could press a button that would flip my personality, I would.

I also worry a great deal about my family - my parents esp. as they get older. I`ve never really had to face any great tragedy up close and personal, but it is inevitable in everyones life.

Monday morning approaching. Bugga.

One of the few advantages ? of chronic ill health is an easier acceptance of your own mortality, I will fight to stay alive for as long as reasonable quality of life is not a long forgotten memory, but I no longer fear the inescapeable, it will happen when it happens, you just hope it will be quick and painfree Quote:
( Hopefully I will be shot at the age of 99 by a young man who has caught me in bed with his lovely young wife and her twin sister after satisfying them both......... twice. )

An old Scots saying express`s it well " Whits fur ye, will no go bye ye "

Most of you are young, fit and healthy, make a few sensible provisions, then forget them and enjoy life to the full.

Trust your old uncle kywy ;-))
