Page 1 of Summer blamed for estate problems
General Forum
I got this from the BBC Leeds website :
"A deprived Leeds estate is suffering from a spate of joyriding and anti-social behaviour.
Residents on East End Park are blaming warm summer nights for the trouble and fear things could get worse once the school summer holidays start. "
Well, I know global warming can cause a lot of problems, but now it causes crime as well.
"Peers in the House of Lords are due to debate new legislation designed to wipe out problems on estates. "
I heard the Lords were supposed to be powerful, but I think we should complain that they would even try to take our "warm summer nights" away. I propose we move "East End Park" to Greenland to stop this problem.

RE: Summer blamed for estate problems
We are not to blame for our own behaviour.

I always notice how bad people`s driving gets when the weather gets warm. Whilst the heat doesn`t make idiots, I`m pretty sure it brings them out of hiding.

Same when its raining Robert. Any change from the norm seems to drive people insane.

I think craig may have a point. When I was in Canada the average night time temp was minus 45c and I did not see one riot.
All the best,
