handyman in SE London?

neal 73 (Elite) posted this on Monday, 13th October 2003, 15:34

Can anyone recommend someone who they know or might have used in SE London to do some general handyman work around the house? I need some pipes boxed in, a little bit of plumbing and possibly some decorating done.

I know a fella whos a decent little decorator and doesn`t charge a fortune he should for the work he does!

was well chuffed with the geezer. He`s a painter not sure what sort of decorating you want but he`s just a domestic painter bit of a picaso ... does like to take his time is neat and tidy also like to chat which isn`t a problem but so do I :D

As for the rest of the stuff I don`t know anyone who could help.

Let me know if you want his details I`ve got them somwhere :)

These guys are supposed to be quite good, haven`t used them personally though.

Scrap that, it appears to have changed since I last looked. Was a database of repairmen, now looks like an insurance company.
