Page 1 of Which companies are best for getting you a temp job?

I am wanting to do some temping in London, I have been sending out cv`s etc but they all the agencies seem uninterested and not very helpful. Can any of you recommend some. Thanks!

I`ve had great experiance with Office Angels and I know a few friends who live and have worked for them in London - Enfield, and Kingston (I presently work for the Manchester branch).

Another Agency I have experiance with is Adecco and they are quite good too... I have another Friend who works for them in Enfield...

I had a problem with no work this summer so went around the agencies and had no luck at all, they basically said I was over-quallified even though I said I would do anything as have bills to pay.

In the end I filled in at a company called Help Hire, they are always looking for drivers to deliver/pick up hire cars, great company to work for, get to drive some nice cars, realy nice people, pay isn`t great but it is better than nothing.

I got their details from Driver Hire which is a driving agency, worked out ideal as have good local knowledge and a 7.5 tonne license, just told them I didn`t have a CV.
