TOUCHING THE VOID - WOW!!!!!!

Went to see this last night and it is totally brilliant.

Up there with Return of the King as the best film I`ve seen at the cinema in quite some time.

Definite 5 out of 5 and I request that everyone interested in quality film making go and see it a.s.a.p.

Yeah, I saw this last year (that makes it sound like I saw it ages ago :p ). I put it in my top 10 of the year. Great Documentary, really tense even though you know what happens. One of the few Documentaries that is actually suited to the big screen because the cinematography and stunt work is second to none. As you said, totally brilliant :D

Do you see every film that comes out at the cinema?

How often do you go the cinema? I am just wondering how much it works out at that you pay per viewing.

Having a UGC Cinema nearby means that it costs me £9.99 per month..

I go about 3 times a week.

Generally see every new film that comes out.

I`m the same. I have the UGC Card, so pay £9.99 a month and go at least twice a week, usually more 8)

Of course some people already know this as I`ve "mentioned" it before :p ;)

Excellent film - really enjoyed the book and doubted whether it could be made into a film without losing its essence. However by going down the drama doc route, it certainly stays true to the book. There were tales (?) that Tom Cruise had bought the rights and it was to be a Hollywood blockbuster - but it seems to have managed to survive intact.
Saw it last Tuesday - seemed all the more atmospheric coming out of the cinema into sub zero temperatures.
Rocky (can`t bring myself to add the other four letters - hate swearing ;) ) - was at the Tyneside Cinema, extended due to demand.

On a separate note - Chewie can`t ever remember you mentioning a UGC card :) ( are you on commission ).
