Page 1 of LG 2280P AND THE MATRIX

HI.
I HAVE JUST WATCHED THE MATRIX AND WHEN EVER I GOT TO THE ACTION SCENES MY DVD STOPPED FOR A SPLIT SECOND AND THEN REPEATED A COUPLE OF TIMES THE SPOT WHERE IT STOPPED.THIS HAPPENED ABOUT 10 TIMES AND WAS VERY ANOYING!!
DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH THE LG2280P
AND IF SO CAN IT BE FIXED,OR COULD IT BE A DODGY DISK??
THE LG IS PERFECT IN EVERY OTHER RESPECT AND I AM MORE THAN HAPPY WITH IT.

Ah much quieter. Did Colin`s site have any info on the player in the end?

Before Christmas, LG`s website had a bulletin about their early DVD players and The Matrix. Apparantly, anything made before October 1999 can suffer the problems you`ve got.

I have a 2330P which I am well happy with but the first one I had was made in August and had the exact same problem as yours. I changed it for one made in November and everything is hunky dory.

LG said on their site that if you contact their service agents they would arrange a swap. The contact was niab.divad[at].ku.oc.sdnarb I don`t know why they removed this note as their must still be a lot of them out there.

I had the same problem
contact LG on 01753 500470 they got a new one to me in less than 24 hours
