Going to Venice soon and looking for a cheap hotel/hostel. Can anyone recommend a nice clean one in a good area?

Easy jet have a link to cheap accomodation. One night room for two inc breakfast £51.75.

Venice is great but with one real BIG problem they do not mention as tourist information. Its in a lagoon with much stagnent water, hence plenty of Mosqitoes at night !

I am not sure of their season, but it would be better to nsure that your hotel has mosqitoe nets over the bed or take a net with you,

I kid you not, I suffered very badly from bites causing much swelling and it almost ruined the holiday.

Stayed there couple of weeks ago. Small, but only 30 seconds from St. Marks.
