I have the 530 which as said is the same as the 535 apart from an audio out connector. It actually does play S-VCDs though it took me a while to find this out because it doesn`t say so anywhere on the product or in the manual. It allows you to select the second audio tracks but unfortunately subtitles don`t work. It`s a nice player and plays most reolutions up to 704 x 576 in s-vcd mode though I think it`s always good to keep to standard resolutions if creating a disc. There is also a bit-rate limitation of around 2300kbps but this is no problem.

All in all it`s a nice player, make sure you get a multi-region version.

How do you make sure it is a multi region version - does it simply say it on the box?
