I agree - very poetic. As a Manc, it`s just a huge relief to win, and it`s great to have been able to stop Arsenal rampaging up the record books.

Still not sure we have any chance of winning this year, but it should make the whole competition that little bit more interesting.

All this talk about Scum losing, and I end up getting the result the wrong way round. Cheers for that. And was that really a penalty? Don`t think so. Luckily I don`t care either way as we`re still third...

Can`t help but notice we haven`y heard from "same old arsenal always winning" or
"Arsenal - were still unbeaten"

Sorry about that chaps but you have to change your name to...perhaps.....

"WE LOST TO MANCHESTER UNITED"
"The Best Team Won"
"Same Old Arsenal Always Cheating"

No, it did look distinctly iffy (and I`m a United fan), although my first reaction was "penalty", and what Campbell thought he was doing sticking his leg out is anyone`s guess. Ashley Cole`s later challenge on Ronaldo was a solid penalty, though, although Riley didn`t give it.

I don`t support Arsenal or Man United, but I watched the game today and it was an almost impossible task for Arsenal to win...what with playing against 12 men!!! How on Earth he didn`t send Ferdinand off in the first half we`ll never know. And cheating??? How much contact was there on Rooney anyway?

And I really do think you are clutching at straws Paull! Afterall, 49 games without defeat is not something to be taken lightly, and they still are a comprehensive 8 POINTS ahead of you in the title race!

So I`d hold off of the celebrations just yet... ;)

See now fergie got it wrong. When he said `Man U are the team everyone still wants to beat` he didnt seem to realise that they didnt want to beat them out of admiration for their footballing skills.

Everyone wanted to beat them because the scum are the most hated team in england. Mainly because of their ingracious fair weather fans, wearing their allegance to `the worlds greatest team` like a huge cock extension.

And for the record it was 12 against 11. Same old man u...always cheating
