....Las Vegas for a wedding - two of our close friends who really deserved the top top TOP affair that it turned out to be :D
Anyway, I really didn`t want to make the title of the thread as it is, as it really seems that I just wanted to make sure everyone read that I was there and think I was bragging. This really isn`t the case and I hope that my question will make you realise this......basically:
We have over a hundred pics (on a memory card thank god as a lot of them are blurred as hell or didn`t come out at all well - although I blame this on the ambient - or should that be kerr-app lighting in the Luxor and not the Kodak camera we took) and we have been sat here thinking of a really cool present (or so we think! ;-)) for their Christmas pressie which is this:
They really like to play cards - and I mean that they REALLY like to play cards, and so we wondered if any of you guys (even Caz is starting to warm to the advice from this site now that we have a great-for-the-money set up here for us to watch her cr*p films on!) knew, or know of anywhere we can get decks of cards made with some of the pics on.
I Googled it earlier and can find plenty - however, they all seem to be able to do either a) ALL of the cards with different pics or the same pic on each card. What we really want to get is:
Number Cards = Normal (ie 1 to 10`s)
Jack = Ian, the Best Man
Queen = Emma, The Bride
King = Ollie, The Groom
and.......
Joker = Me, the worst dancing `Usher` in town :D:D
Can anyone help at all?? We only got back yesterday and I am still a little shot away from the timezone changes and can`t get my head round it all!!
Thanks in advance for any pointers!

RE: I have just been in.......
You`re probably gonna think I`m nuts suggesting this but:
1) scan an entire card deck into your PC to make the initial card "fronts"
2) edit the cards you wish to include the faces as you wish (Photoshop?)
3) print out all 52 of said cards using thick card, or business cards.
4) reinsert all 52 cards and reprint the back of the cards with your preferred design or photo
5) get these 52 cards laminated
OK, thats probably much more hassle than you originally wanted, but would make a nice "presentation" set that didn`t get used, and you could reprint them on photo-glossy card type paper to make a "playing" deck too....
not like you need to worry about the play deck getting knackered, cause you could just reprint them again :)

PS: and I don`t know any companies that could produce a set with just those specific cards altered, but might be worth emailing the ones you`ve found?
Access to a colour laser printer? http://www.cards4magic.co.uk do a Custom Playing Cards kit for £20.
I`ve bought from them before, the guy there was pretty helpful so I`m sure if you emailed them they could offer some advice.

Jimbo, thanks very much for the idea......it`s certainly given us something to think about - and you`re right about it producing a `show` deck, if we do it right.......and, best of all, it would only take half a day to do.......
...Would still like to do what we said though - maybe for a bulk purchase, for the 23 others that came to LV with us, so I would still be open to suggestions peeps.
Off to warm up the scanner now - again, good one Jimbo :D
