Which out of the Wharfedale, Proline, Bush or Matsui are the best players to invest my cash into?

Wharfedale has got the best reviews and a nice easy multi region hack to boot.

Forget the Bush, its R1 capabilities are too limited. The Proline seems to have vanished following the Matrix debacle. The Wharfedale, Matsui and Schneider players all are very good and have easy all region hacks. The Schneider is better specified than the Matsui or the Wharfedale, but the Wharfie plays CD-Rs and the others don`t. I`d rank them Schneider, Wharfedale, Matsui.

If you only want R2, then the LG2330P and Sharp 700, both on offer at Ricvher Sounds are also worth considering. The LG, in particular, is very good and plays CD-Rs, but no R1 hack yet.
