hi anybody heard anything fom stardvds yet?
ive tried logging on all day and i cant get on:(
p.s
i got mummy returns today on dvd..its a brilliant copy..:)not a bad film aswell..not as good as monkey bone though
and ive got crocodile dundee 3 next week ..

its an illegal transfer and is almost certainly not upto DVD quality.

Stock Update

We would like to apologise to those of you waiting 2 weeks for your DVDs. Stock shipped to us last week but for the most part of this week has been in customs. I have told some of you that you would have your orders by now, expecting customs to have been through with our stock on Tuesday latest, but it is now Thursday and we are informed it will be tomorrow before it is with us. I apologise sincerely to everyone for the delay, hopefully our prices will make up for it and you will bare with us while we overcome these initial troubles.

I won`t post it - looks like a general post to all `orderees`.

Upshot is very sorry, not a scam, only been open 2 weeks not 3, delivery problems not our fault/out of our control, thanks for being patient, very sorry, very sorry. Oh, & some blurb about prices & supply in general.

Whilst I`m sure these guys are not scamming and are victims of their own success, I am sure that their customers patience is stretched almost to the limit and wouldn`t be surprised if they already have a number of cancellations.

I myself will hang on a little longer, as time is not a real problem to me. But I do understand those of us who have gotten just a little wound up over the delays. I think it`s just unfortunate(not to say slightly unprofessional) that StarDVDs did not warn us all that they had no stock and that initial deliveries could take some time. I would still have ordered and Star could have started off on the right foot.
