EU constitution referendum question revealed

David Beckett (Reviewer) posted this on Wednesday, 26th January 2005, 09:06

Should the referendum bill survive its passage through Parliament, the question will be Quote:
"Should the United Kingdom approve the treaty establishing a constitution for the European Union?"
I`m sceptical but have not read the proposed constitution and am open to persuasion both ways.

I doubt there are many people who have read the document cover to cover - I downloaded it this morning and it was 329 pages long.

I certainly have no intention of wading through every single word of it.

Don`t worry, most of the British press will provide you with an accurate, unbiased and balanced overview of what it`s about. Especially the Daily Mail. :p
