Gameboy Advaced - Personal Import?
Hi, I`m thinking about trying to order a GBA from either America or Japan through the net, does anyone have any companies that they have used in the past for importing video games personally? I wouldn`t have even considered this before but seeing as places like DDDhouse can deliver DVD`s over here in 4 days I thought that it may be worth a try.

Haven`t used them before, but http://www.lik-sang.com seems to be a favourite with quite alot of people. Although it`d be wise to check out other peoples opinions first.

If you can`t wait that few weeks until it get release in the UK, then I would get it for Japan or Asia, not america! they ise 110V mains so the adaptor won`t work! apart from the shaving plugs in the bathroom. Unless you want play the Gameboy from the bathroom most of the time then get the japanese one.
I used to live in Hong Kong and the Gameboy I had in Hong Kong works in the UK, both the games and the mains adaptor works fine. They are the same worldwide (machine and games wise) not the adaptor.
Well, I play with mine in the bathroom all the time ;-)
Does the GBA actually come with a mains adapter, though? If not, there`s nothing to stop you getting a US GBA and a UK mains adapter.
Japan uses 110v mains as well, BTW.

The UK one is out in 30 days. A friend of mine ordered one from http://www.lik-sang.com and it took about a month to turn up. Even Nintendo don`t have a confirmed UK price yet (apparently due to currency fluctuations) but the smart moneys on £89.99. EB are probably your best bet as they`ll match any other shops deals, and they`ll let you change the games if you don`t like them. Oh, and they also do part-ex on DVD`s.
