he he he..... brilliant result for France, the look on the faces of the panel of `experts` at the end of the game was pure class

Steve metioned that the Ref maybe had a bad game, lets look at this incident where he stopped an England attack for a forward pass he says ............ they watched the footage and the Welshman says " no ref got that one spot on. " nought was said LOL.

Martin Johnson loooked ready to explode, and poor Jeremy just stuttered and stammered, best television thats been on for weeks.

:-)

Although that was one of the worst performances from a French team that I can remember, I am very disappointed and disillusioned by the direction (or lack of) of the England set up. The squad that won the World Cup was balanced and stable with a first XV that you could name in your sleep, this current group of players look unsure of their place and what type of rugby they should be playing.

In 2003, England had a superb captain in Martin Johnson and a group of 'lieutenants' (Back, Dallaglio, Dawson, Wilkinson and Greenwood) who all provided on-field leadership - this current outfit looks rudderless under Robinson (both Andy and Jason). At one stage yesterday, England were awarded a penalty, up stepped Jason Robinson who looked unsure of what to do. He pointed at the posts and Hodgson and Barkley looked at each other, giving the impression that neither wanted the shot at goal; in the event it was taken by Charlie Hodgson, who missed it.

I really don't know where England go from here; they will probably lose to Ireland but beat Italy and Scotland but the long term future does not look good.

We walked into local pub to watch Spurs v WBA and the effing Scotland v Ireland pish was on. >:(
I think Scotland were on thirteen points and Ireland were on a million with ten minutes to go. :/
Umpteen pseudo rugby `fans` (who probably couldn`t name the team`s line-up) started mumping when we insisted the TV channel was changed. :D
Tough. :D :p :D :p

Firstly,it`s a football pub.
Secondly, why would they want to watch the last ten minutes when Scotland were being thrashed ?
Thirdly, they weren`t even proper rugby fans.
They were the sort that played it a couple of times at school, coz they were too clumsy for football, and like to identify themselves with the sport without taking much of an interest outside of internationals.
In other words.
Pseudo fans.
:p

Don`t even start me on the way they insult our national dress (the kilt) by wearing it with a Rugby top and caterpillar boots. :/
You do get that for Scottish football internationals as well, but the tartan-army is one big joke no matter what the sport IMHO. :p :D
