Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way, turn...

And those who dance will spin and turn,
And those who wait will wait no more,
And those who talk will hear the words,
And those who see will fade and die,
And those who laugh will surely fall,
And those who know will always feel their backs against the thin wall...

May i be the first to say..........

- I hate the BBC it should be baned. they waist our money on crap like programs and I dont even get a choics to watch them.

- But the BBC, comparatively is very good value for money and is envied around the world for the quality of its output

- The BBC sux and shudnt spend our money on things i dont understand, namely art

- Youre right. They should show eastenders 5 times a week and have only fools and horses on every other day.

Word.

That is all........

Well you clearly are, although it would have been better to split some of that text in italic.

I have nothing against the BBC in general, just don`t see how a small bird on a brass pole is worth £60 grand. But then, maybe I`m a philistine.

That really is rubbish :/ Thing is I`m not sure whether Tracy Emin is a talentless wacko or a money making genius :o C`mon, that can`t of cost more than a couple of quid to cobble together (same goes for that crap tent) yet she`s sold it for 60k :o Maybe she can stop buying her clothes from pound stretcher now :D

Unbelievable! It`s no joke coz it`s on you LF payers. Ah well, the upside is you all `own` a piece of this...well `masterpiece` of modern art. Nice if you had all been consulted about the purchase first though eh?_PK

The BBC have to be the torch-bearers for culture and the arts in this country and in their opinion such a payments is justified by the artistical value of the piece due to the extensive input by the artist !!!

OK!!! The real reason is ITS NOT THEIR MONEY so they will waste it how they want to. Another example of the BBC wasting the licence fee. It should be withd......(No can`t go down that route, must resist).

Mike J T

PS. Nothing against the artist. Have heard her discuss some of the work she has done. Some I like, some I don`t but can understand her thought process.
