Page 1 of What are yours called and why?

Here are the two cats, Caffrey and Guinness (the black one in the sig), names chosen much to the GF`s annoyance due to their colour and my love of beer, she wanted to call them misty and blackie or something. Next one is already planned, a Chocolate coloured lab to be named Murphy (keeping with the theme). So what are your pets called and why?

we have two scrats...one a very fluffy ginger and white male called "Spike"
`cos his fur is very...well spiky.
the other is a black and white male called "Max"..as in Mad..

2 cats : Salt and Pepper


When we got the first cat, he sneezed when he got a whiff of the mrs`s perfume so thats where pepper came from. Salt was a natural progression.

Worryingly coincidentally, we have three black cats... two are named Guiness and Murphy!

The third was going to be Mackison, but we settled on Boris for some bizarre reason.

Pepper: not sure why, just popped into my head.


We`ll never forget Chewie (Millie`s brother), who I named after Chewbacca the Wookie. We still miss you, big lad!

ren,,,, from the ren & stimpy show, anyone remember :D

We`ve got a lutino cockateil called Allie. We chose an androgynous name because we weren`t certain of it`s sex, good job too, as we`ve just figured out it`s male, and are currently trying to get into the habit of saying `he` and `him`.

I got two also , Goughie after Darren Gough (English cricketer)Tabby grey and Mo (Moses)all black or cheekymon as my nephew calls him, we also have a rabbit 3rd 1 in 4 years as the first one legged it second snuffed it and the 3rd is called princess COCO (all black also)
