Page 1 of HELP!!!!!

please help me as i need to find a cheap dvd player that is hackable and is able to play vcds,cd-rw and cd-r ( its for a friend as i have my hidvp305e and its great!!!) also must be available on the high street.

id say get the minato G1 from tescos for 109 quid...its basicly the same as the wharfdale 750.. playe cdr, cdrw, vcd and as an added bonus and it doesnent say anywhere about this ability it also plays MP3 :0) i bought one and am well happy with it,, good picture,,, DD 5.1 sound.. oh.. and yes it has a region hack through handset ,, not bad for just over a ton eh? lol... cheers..
