Does anyone know where I can find reviews of DVD discs comparing Region 1 against Region 2?

Rewind does them, http://www.rewind.org.uk although you might want to avoid the Dungeon site hosted there.

We will soon be including a feature to compare them on our site, so wherever a R1 exists you can click a comparison box and get the features/specs side by side.

They have an excellent feature by feature comparison, on an easily searcheable/browsable site, combined with knowledgeable mini-reviews.
