If the Adult DVDs don`t break the R-18 BBFC guidelines then it should be ok.

If you want a better chance try http://www.dv-depot.com as I believe they have a customs avoiding system

So can anyone shed light on the bbfc guidelines? all R18 titles ok?

I have ordered from this company based in Amsterdam a couple of times http://www.yourchoice.co.uk/

They do some US DVD`s and are all posted from within the UK.

I ordered 2 DVDs from them for a mate recently but when I checked my credit card bill I had not been charged £`s like the site said and ended up paying about £4 extra. They refused to refund the money and would only give me credit.

I ordered a VHS tape some years ago from them and sent a cheque and had no problems.

R18 are not allowed:
Any material which is in breach of the criminal law
Material likely to encourage an interest in abusive sexual activity (eg paedophilia, incest) which may include depictions involving adults role-playing as non-adults
The portrayal of any sexual activity, whether real or simulated, which involves lack of consent
The infliction of pain or physical harm, real or (in a sexual context) simulated. Some allowance may be made for mild consensual activity
Any sexual threats or humiliation which do not form part of a clearly consenting role-playing game
The use of any form of physical restraint which prevents participants from withdrawing consent, for example, ball gags
Penetration by any object likely to cause actual harm or associated with violence
Activity which is degrading or dehumanising (examples include the portrayal of bestiality, necrophilia, defecation, urolagnia)

Aroused genitalia
Masturbation
Oral-genital contact including kissing, licking and sucking
Penetration by finger, penis, tongue, vibrator or dildo

These guidelines make no distinction between heterosexual and homosexual activity.

I ordered some DVDs and a VHS casette from Vidshop.com (which seems to be related to completelyconfidential.co.uk) and only got the VHS cassette delivered. On the web site, there is some blurb about delivery guarantee, which I took to be a good thing. However, I emailed 3 times and phoned once (I actually phoned a number of times, but all but once I got a message saying that the voicemail was full) but got no response.
So, from my experience, I wouldn`t order from these people. I`ve been ripped off by about £90.

If they do turn up, I`ll gladly post another note here to let people know.

Let the board know how you get on with the supplier you chose.

DVDexplorer.com seem to offer a good service but be careful when checking the shipping option.
They do try to upgrade to express for $30. USPS is $7
