Page 1 of My Blueyonder connection speed has just been upped to 4meg today..

Just to let a lot of people from the north west area know that my broadband has just been upped from 1 meg to 4meg today... we have been waiting for ages up here to get it done, but they are finally getting around to doing it... b.t.w i live in the St.Helens area, roughly in-between Liverpool + Manchester... :D

im in crosby just outside liverpool. did you get an email telling you? ive just gone online and it seems to be the same as it was yesterday.

No ... no e-mail at all yet... my brother in law text me to ask if it had been speeded up because his mate near where i live had hes upped this morning , went on the speed test + it was 4meg speed.

well, in wolverhampton we`re still waiting. "to be confirmed".

wish they`d bloody hurry up.

I live in Haydock, St.Helens and mine has been upped to 4 meg.

just checked on the blueyonder site. yesterday it said for north west the speed uplift would be completed by end of jan, this has changed and says completed. it also shows a few other regions that are know completed. under north west though it only says knowsley and preston, bit vague for the north west.

I live in Southport and I`ve had no upgrade!! >:(

earlier on whilst dl i noticed the speeds went upto 200kb/s didnt stay there long, but it did stay around 170kb/s for a few minutes. know even if i get good speeds they top out around 115kb/s even when its starting up they never go above that.
so with what has been mentioned earlier in the thread im hoping it means the upgrade aint too far away.
