Ebay foreign buyer

Urban Guerilla (Competent) posted this on Friday, 22nd September 2006, 14:50

I`m guessing most people on here are sick of ebay threads, but here I go anyway...
I was selling two sets of tops both were bought by someone in Estonia, my listing said `United Kingdom Only`, but they still bought them, I`m not gonna send them to Estonia, it`s not worth the hassle for six quid, plus they`re a new member.
I`ve messaged them telling them this, so can I just give a second chance offer to the other bidder or do I have to wait for them to reply? Plus they have the chance to give me feedback now, could be their revenge!
Any help welcome!
Urban

Yes. If you stated in your auction that you would post to the UK only, then you don`t have a problem. Except that the buyer could be nasty and leave a negative - but he shouldn`t, as you`ve done nothing wrong - plus he knows that you can also neg him back, so as a new user, I`m sure that`s the last thing he wants!

same as hulk said but would add that in future when you list there is a section saying `Buyer Requirements`, in that you can specifically block bidders from other countries than those you ship to (also you can block people with neg feedback etc), it saves a lot of hassle from the outset

Merci Hulk and Butters, I`ll use that buyer requirements thing next time I list
Much obliged
