guys
Has anyone had any experience with this service i.e. Is there any reliability or speed issues that I should be aware of?
Thanks

RE: BT Broadband ADSL; Is it any good???
Considering getting it myself as it is half price untill the end of the month.
M8 of mine has it and he can achieve up to 50k/s but it all depends on the connection you are downloading from.
It also depends on how many people are using the service at one time and how far away you are from one of the bt adsl networks.
Hope this helps

I love it, I cant believe how I managed with a 56k modem.
As xeno says i generally download at 50k/s.
There are a lot of disgruntled customers with adsl, but i have found it very good I couldn`t live without it now ;-) .
I just wished BT would bring the price down a bit, unfortunately I cant get NTL yet.
RE: BT Broadband ADSL; Is it any good???
Is BT using call charges as well or have they gone to flat rate the way NTL is ?
RE: BT Broadband ADSL; Is it any good???
There are no call charges if that is what you mean.
I pay £40 a month and have permanent connection, I bought a router so my connection never disconnects it is always on, so i just turn on any of my pcs and they all have instant access to the net.
The best thing about it is i can now actually win some games at Unreal T online, i tried it once previously on my modem and gave up becuase my pings were just to slow.
I am not a big gamer but unreal t online is brilliant to play especially now I have the lowest ping of the players ;-)
