What methods of payment do you use?
I am currently writing a new website which will require as many forms of payment as possible.
I already have credit/debit cards, paypal, neteller and bank transfer.
If any of you have ever used any other form of payment it would really help if you could let me know, and also what was your opinion of the service.
Many thanks in advance.

What about the option to pay by the humble cheque or Postal order. I`m surprised at the number of people who pay by these methods when selling items on ebay.

One suggestion would be to vary the input fields required according to the type of credit/debit card. Or to clearly state the different requirements.
For example Amex cards don`t have a start date and the additional security code is on the front not the signature strip.
Page designers seem to ignore these variations, or are not aware of them. A little research and effort hear would add some polish.
Not what you were asking I know.

:) Hi, I have a basic bank account which has a visa electron card, can you make sure its accepted? Most high street shops take it as payment but some websites don`t, eg carphone warehouse, tesco (for groceries other tesco sites do accept) and dorothy perkins. :/

My AMEX has a start date.

Well that is a good example of the variations I was referring to. I have a BA Amex and that only has an end date.

Thanks chaps,
I will look into Nochex and Western Union.
I always forget about cheques and PO`s as it seems stange that you would use an online system to order something then have to wait for the payment to clear. Ta.
I also have to try to prove to the bank that we will be able to prevent money laundering, the only way that i can see to do this is to refund back to the original method of payment. I didn`t think you could launder money electronically as there is always a paper trail.
