can anyone tell me how to transfer a dvd film onto my vcr.

i can`t on my Hitachi DVP305e because i can`t stop the macrovison signal so it shows up crap. on some models you can get rid of the signal via a remote hack. To record link Your dvd up to your video recorder then record.

u do this by gettin the scart lead from ur dvd player then connecting this in to the scart socket at the back of ur vcr then recored.

buy the scart lead from ringos.co.uk £30 this disables macrovision but won`t convert ntsc unless u have a dvd player that does pal 50

look at http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/info/multiregion/ it should say if you can remove macrovision with the remote. with my old player i had in the secret menu i could select macrovision on or off, but now i got a better player i can`t! And you can look through the region hacks forum on this site!
