Virgin Credit Card - Boooooooooooooo!!
Just receivd my latest statement and have been charged a late payment fee of £12 for paying 2 days late despite not receiving the bill until 2 days before the payment date because of a house move and having to get a statement copy sent out. They say I`ve been a customer for 5 years and the bill is sent out at the same time evry month. And I said I`ve been a customer for 5 years and never paid late. They;`ve basically said "Tough!!".
Anyone else having bad credit card experiences??

I sincerely hope that you vote with your feet, rather than just moan about it on the internet.
Any company that reward my loyal custom with `tough tits` get binned.

Yes, I have already told them that I wanted to cancel my account there and then but was told I have to pay off my balance (obviously).

Yeah, credit cards are bitches for that. `YEAH? WELL F*** YOU!!!!` isnt quite as effective when it takes 6 months to finally rid yourselves of the bastards.
Worth it in the end, though. Then they start sending you junk mail offering you a card again....

Can`t you balance transfer to a new card with someone else? I wouldn`t stand for that sort of treatment.
edit: beat me to it.

I`m a right credit card tart.
Constantly swapping around.
Trouble is,I have difficulty keeping track... :/
Anyway, with regard to the late payment thing,99% of credit cards allow you to checkl balances and pay online.
Waiting for statements through the post is so yesterday.
In fact,I wish my credit card companies could give me an `opt out` option for postal statements.
It would be one less opportunity for identity theft, for one thing.
It would save me going out to the garage to shred them, for another.

This would be awesome. For various boring and unimportant reasons i have three accounts with natwest, two of which i use extremely infrequently and every month i get a statement for each one.
They get ripped up, generally without being opened. What a waste of everyone`s time.
