Page 1 of Sci Fi Mags

What`s everyone`s opinion of the new kids on the Sci Fi Block challenging the SFX magazine crown? And does anyone care?

There`s "Sci Fi Now" - which just feels a bit lite (a la Film Review) and too full of TV listings.

And "Deathray" which feels a bit more in-depth. The only thing that I hate about it is the title.

I don`t like Sci Fi Now, and I haven`t spotted Deathray. I have bought SFX for years and think it`s a grreat mag - would take some beating! 8)

I wasn`t keen on Sci Fi Now and only bought the current one for the Quantum Leap article and the freebie.

Deathray is worth a look.

Is the Quantum Leap article any good? I love Quantum Leap and if the article is worth it I`ll need to keep an eye out for the mag

gf bought Deathray teh other day, she thought it was pretty good, but couldn`t see it lasting a long time.

She liked it because it had articles about books, she loves books but she said that most ppl who read books, probably don`t want to read about them, and the ppl that don`t read books probably won`t want to read about them, so the magazine is a bit of a niche, in a niche market!
