Page 1 of Live & Let Die R2 menu problems?

Hi folks

I`m on my secomd copy of Live And Let Die from Blackstar, both have the same problem. The animated menus are static (no music, background movement or sound FX) on the activate and main menu screens.

Attempting to play the movie causes the player to spit the disc out.

I`m using a remote-hacked Sammy 709.

Anybody had this problem with the disc (duff disc)?

Anybody had the problem from Blackstar (duff batch)?

Anybody had the problem on this player (duff player)?

I once had a Matsui 110. LALD would not even load. OHMSS did not work and many other problems were encountered. I think that LALD is obviously a bit glitchy on some players. I now have a Wharfdale. LALD and OHMSS both work perfectly.
