Page 1 of Vcds on Dreamcast

Does anyone know how to get vcds to play on dreamcast?I`ve got hold of a vcd player disc for it but can`t get it to work.

you just put it in then replace with vcd just like the
boot disk for games it wont play all vcds so try a few

i remember coming across a program that lets you make vcds just for the dreamcast i cant remember were it was it might have been vcdhelp.com but not sure just try a net search, that is if you have a cd writer.

ok had to go and find it for myself to make sure i wasn`t talkin rubbish and i did. Here is the link to the site the software is freeware there are also progs to play mp3s.

i`m gonna test the vcd prog so i will post again later and let you know if it works well.

Picture quality on dreamcast is considerably below playing a vcd on a dvd machine. Tendency to frame skipping and juddering.

Thanks for the tip ,found the site,downloaded it,guess what,it did not work.Purely my fault probably,i`m a complete novice when it comes to pc`s
