When I saw it on Fri night I missed the "Gordon`s Alive" bit...just re-watched it, cracked me up. Brian Blessid should be on TV more! :D

Although it was extremely funny, the show hasn`t been the same since Deayton left as the rapport he had with Hislop and Merton was an integral part of the show, which has yet to be duplicated.

I agree that Angus Daeyton is an incredibly clever and funny man, and was the perfect person to anchor the show.

But we have seen some magical TV with some of the guest presenters since his demise.

Just watched this one, and it was hilarious. Shame the extended episode wasn`t on iPlayer, but ah well. At least I saw it.

Boris was brilliant when he did it, but also I particularly enjoyed Bruce Forsythe. He tried to get the contestants to play the conveyor belt game from Generation Game, but Ian had appearntly never watched it in his life, which was priceless! :D

That`s strange, I watched it on iPlayer (It was just under "Have I Got More News For You" IIRC).

Blessed hosted some awards ceremony recently.
I heard someone talking about it, saying his behaviour was really strange.
He was up on a podium.
He`d just stand there, looking completely sullen and still, until it was his turn to announce something, at which point he would become animated and loud.
They said it was literally like watching a robot being switched off and on... :/
