I was just accepting the bills but then they started varying wildly. £900 one month, £400 the next when we do the same thing month in month out. I don`t have easy access to the meter as it is in a disused basement where the entry is next door. So with a keyring torch in hand I make my way in to the pitch black. About 15m in I find my meter. With the sound of the rats scuttling about I scribble down the readings. On my day rate they are about 17000 units out. Cant remember what they were out on the night rate. Phoned them and they put it right. No argument. Mind, I have not got it yet.
