Page 1 of Russell Brand to be ivestigated by OFCOM - What about Jonathan Ross?

BBC News is reporting Russell Brand will be investigated by OFCOM over the incident where he and Jonathan Ross left obscene messages on Andrew Sachs` answering machine.

The likelihood is that licencepayers` money will be wasted by OFCOM levying a fine against the BBC. There is a groundswell growing for both Brand and Ross to have their contracts terminated.

Haven`t heard the show in question, so I don`t know which of these two tw*ts egged the other on, but they`ve both obviously overstepped the mark and should get the appropriate b*llocking.

I actually heard the show today. To be honest, as despicable as it was, it was quite funny and nothing worse than he`s done before to other people.

It was actually Ross who started it, when Russell Brand was leaving a message on his (Sachs) answerphone, Ross shouted "he f***ed your grand-daughter"!

They decided to call up and apologise and ended up singing a silly song and just making things worse. It was deemed offensive because it`s Sachs and he`s an elderly gent regarded by many as a comedy legend, and all started because Brand had his goth-porn grand-daugter round his house.

As you say, OFCOM fining the BBC is, effectively, taking money from us, the very people they are supposed to be protecting!
I listen to Brand every week.
IMO, there`s no denying he`s a `cheeky chappy`.
He made no secret of the fact these girls (who call their band the Satanic Sluts) come round to him for sex.
He then mentioned one of them happens to be Sax`s grand-daughter.
I think Brand would have left it at that, I don`t think he`s got a bad bone in him (pun intended...)
IMO, it was Ross that took it too far.
I`ve noticed he`s becoming more and more of a law unto himself lately.
He seems to think he should be centre of attention on his chat show, not the guests.
When he cracks a joke with a guest, you look at his eyes.
They instantly flit to the green room screen, seeking confirmation that he `made a funny`.
I wouldn`t shed a tear for Ross, I would be disappointed if Brand were sacked though.

I`ve met Andrew Sachs and he`s a thoroughly nice unassuming bloke. Had to photograph him for some publicity shots and he couldn`t have been more helpful. This is of course of no relevance but a good opportunity for a name drop...
