Page 1 of sci fi week on radio 4
General Forum
just a heads up that there is a series of sci fi shows on radio 4 this week.
It starts today, apparently, but i listened to the Time Machine (wells) on the iplayer last week, and it was pretty good.
coming up there are plays based on the works of Iain M Banks and Arthur C Clarke as well.
worth a listen. if you like that sort of thing... personally I prefer Iain `No M` Banks. but it takes all sorts
edit. i think it might have started last week.. this is yet to come though

Just reaiised I missed Rendezvous with Rama this afternoon on Radio 4 at 3pm. iPlayer will be coming in useful, I can see that!
Just realised that I`d missed it as well. Went to Iplayer, but it`s NOT available to download. Bugger!
But it looks like the first episode is broadcast again on Saturday at 21:00

Not that I don`t trust you, but I`ll have to double-check that!
I thought you could catch every programme for 7 days after it was first broadcast. :/
Edit: Found it...

Edit 2: Forgot to say that I did hear Blake`s 7 on Radio 7 last night - even though I`ve heard it before, it`s still a favourite of mine.
Is there a webpage anywhere that lists all the sci-fi across the channels over this season? I`m in danger of missing stuff if it`s spread about like this.
Edit 3: Ignore me. I`ll just go and stick my head in a bucket for a bit. Should try clicking on other people`s links sometimes! :D

Agreed. I find iPlayer very inconvenient, although at least it allows us to catch things we missed.
They should release more on CD though.
I`m kind of surprised that there`s none of Big Finish`s Doctor Who stories starring Paul McGann included in this season, now I`m thinking about it. I wonder how they decided what`s in and what`s out. :/
